Important Announcement
The Consular Section of Embassy of Spain in Kiev will be shifting from their current location between July 13th to July 18th. It is highly recommended that any person travelling around these dates, must apply as soon as possible. The processing time for applications during July 13-18 will take longer than the normal and hence applicants must plan accordingly. For scheduling an appointment please click here.
Please be aware that according to the guidelines
of the Spanish Embassy, the visa process time is 8 working days
from the day of the submission at the Visa Application Centre.
Please ensure that your travel schedule is after 8 days - since we
will not be able to accept documents otherwise.
The Embassy of Spain in Kiev advises all visa applicants in Ukraine on the
process of applying for a Schengen Visa (Business, Tourism, Transit, Invitation
and a visa to attend Congress or Symposium) to submit their visa applications
to the Embassy of Spain in Kiev, with a prior appointment only.
Important Announcement
- Please have an extra photocopy of the first passport page.
- Please provide a photocopy of each internal passport page, each page of your present and previous international passports (including blank pages).
- Extended
passport won’t be accepted.
- VAF
must be filled in on the one sheet from both
sides.
- All representatives must have a notarial authority letter to pay visa fee at the Embassy.
- It is required to submit a separate set of documents (provided in the list of required documents for a definite type of visa) for each member of the group.
In accordance with the guidelines
of the Spanish Embassy,
Visa Application Centerdoes not accept the applications if:
- Photos
are scanned and do not meet the requirements listed on the website.
- Date of
travel is earlier than 8 days.
- Date of
travel is later than 3 months.
- Validity of passport is extended.
All applicants/representatives/travel agents – must open an
envelope and check whether they have the right passport.

will be accepted. Please check the
link.
All applicants – groups and individuals will have to first come to the Spanish
Visa Application Centre to submit their documents and then will have to go to
the Spanish embassy on the same day to pay the visa fees in dollars. The
Applicants only have to pay for service charges at the Visa Application Centre
and not the visa fees.
The Applicants will have to carry the stamped Visa Application Form as a proof
of the submission. There is a cashier counter at the Embassy where they show
the stamped application form from the Visa Application Centre and then pay for
the visa fees.
Please Note: All visa fees payments will have to be made in
dollars and at the same day of submission before 14:30.
The Embassy of Spain in Kiev is competent for:

Ukrainian citizens.
-
Legal permanent residents in Ukraine (for a minimum intended stay of at least 6
months).
The Embassy of Spain in Ukraine will not issue visa to Ukrainian citizens who
live permanently outside of Ukraine. Please contact the Embassy of Spain in
your country of residence.
Excluded from the necessity to book appointments through the call
center/website are:

Travelers in emergency cases (e. g. but not limited to: funeral, urgent medical
treatment)

Diplomats traveling to Spain on official visit

Minors Traveling alone / (Student Minors)

Process time:
The process time for applicants will be:

Seaman – according to travel date but not less than 2 days

Travel Agents – 8 calendar days

Individuals – 8 calendar days
The Embassy may keep passports longer in case it’s needed.
