Visa Fee collection at Visa Application Centre

Effective 1st of July 2010, Visa Application Centre is authorized to collect Visa Fee on behalf of Embassy of Spain in Kiev. Visa Fee is payable in local currency (Hryvnia) and published on this site.

L'viv Visa Application Collection Centre

Effective 7th of July 2010, Visa Application Collection Center in L'viv will start accepting visa applications on behalf of Embassy of Spain in Kiev. For more details, please visit relevant information on this website. For more information click here


Starting from 5th of April, in accordance with the Schengen Visa Code and as per instructions  of Embassy of Spain in Kiev, submission and collection of passports at the Visa Application Centre will have to be done either by the applicants in person or through one of the accredited travel agencies. Any exceptions to the above rules will be considered only at the discretion of the Embassy of Spain in Kiev.

New Visa Application Form

Effective 5th of May 2010, only new visa application forms are accepted.

Please note, application must be filled either in English or in Spanish language.

Dear Customer,

Please be aware that according to the guidelines of the Spanish Embassy, the visa process time is 5 working days from the day of the submission at the Visa Application Centre. Please ensure that your travel schedule is after 5 days - since we will not be able to accept documents otherwise.

The Embassy of Spain in Kiev advises all visa applicants in Ukraine on the process of applying for a Schengen Visa (Business, Tourism, Transit, Invitation and a visa to attend Congress or Symposium) to submit their visa applications to the Embassy of Spain in Kiev, with a prior appointment only.



Important Announcement

  • Please have an extra photocopy of the first passport page.
  • Please provide a photocopy of each internal passport page, each page of your present and previous international passports (including blank pages).
  • Extended passport won't be accepted.
  • There must be at least two blank pages in an international passport. There must be two additional blank pages in the passport of parent for each minor who requires visa into parent's passport. Passport must be valid at least three months after visa expiry date.
  • It is required to submit a separate set of documents (provided in the list of required documents for a definite type of visa) for each member of the group.
  • Minor applicants in passports of parents must have separate Visa Application Form.
  • Minor applicants below 16 can request visa in parent's passport. Applicants above 16 must have their own travel document/passport.

In accordance with the guidelines of the Spanish Embassy, Visa Application Center does not accept the applications if:

  • Photos are scanned and do not meet the requirements listed on the website.
  • Date of travel is earlier than 5 days or later than 3 months.
  • Validity of passport is extended.

All applicants/representatives/travel agents - must open the envelope and check whether they have the right passport.

The Embassy of Spain in Kiev is competent for:

  • Ukrainian citizens.
  • Legal permanent residents in Ukraine (for a minimum intended stay of at least 6 months).

The Embassy of Spain in Ukraine will not issue visa to Ukrainian citizens who live permanently outside of Ukraine . Please contact the Embassy of Spain in your country of residence.

Excluded from the necessity to book appointments through the call center/website are:

  • Travelers in emergency cases (e. g. but not limited to: funeral, urgent medical treatment)
  • Diplomats traveling to Spain on official visit
  • Student Minors

They are requested to go to the embassy directly to submit their application.

Process time:

The process time for applicants will be:

  • Seaman - according to travel date but not less than 3 days
  • Travel Agents - 5 working days
  • Individuals - 5 working days

The Embassy may keep passports longer in case it's needed.
