b) Applicant can collect it from the Visa Application Center PERSONALLY:

You can collect your passport from the Visa Application Centre between 0830 and 1530 hours (Monday to Friday, except on Holidays). At the time of collecting passport, applicant must present the
original payment receipt and passport photocopy that was provided by the VAC at the time of submission and his/her ID document.

Please note: if the application was submitted by the applicant personally but the applicant would like to authorize another person to collect his/her passport then the authorized person must be present at the time of submission for issuing the Letter of authority. In case the representative is not present at the time of submission the applicant still have two choices to collect the passport:

-          Applicant should collect passport personally; or

-          Applicant can avail our Courier Option

c) Through a representative (third person): Collection is possible by such representative, provided he/she is the same person who submitted the application. Such representative can collect passport(s) by presenting the original payment receipt and passport photocopy that was provided by the VAC; Letter of authority that was attested by VAC at the time of Submission; and ID of representative shown in original with the photocopy of the first page.

This process applies to family members too, where if one of the family members wants to collect the passports/documents on behalf of rest of the family, then such member will be treated as a representative and hence the above process applies.
