EMBASSY OF SPAIN IN KYIV WILL PROCESS VISA APPLICATIONS WITHIN FIVE WORKING DAYS

 Effective November 23, 2009 Embassy of Spain in Kyiv will process all applications of Schengen visas within five working days. This means from the date of submission* of your application, the Embassy will revert with one of the three possible decisions in five days:   

           a.      Visa Granted

b.       Visa Refused

c.       Additional document(s) or a personal interview required (More information given below)

* Note: Date of Submission will be counted only after the required Visa Fee has been paid.

 Insofar as an application is presented in a complete fashion according to the list of documents required (provided in this website) the Embassy of Spain in Kyiv will make its utmost in guaranteeing a final decision in that period of time without further delays. If a decision can be reached before that period of time, then you will be contacted to render it to you before that very deadline.

 In case of additional document(s) required by the Embassy or if the applicant needs to appear for an interview at the Embassy, you will have ten more days to complete your application, followed by another period of, at maximum, five days on the part of the Embassy of Spain. Interviews, for the sake of saving time, will be done in the shortest period of time available.

 Important points to note:  

-          Embassy of Spain and Visa Application Centre will not be responsible for any delays due to courier service. If an applicant needs to submit additional documents and if the applicant had chosen to receive the passport back by Courier, then please be informed that the time taken by the courier service (usually 1-2 days) is also INCLUDED in the 10 days time given to the applicant to resubmit the required document(s)
