Effective November 4, 2011 those applicants who are required to visit the Consulate of Spain for confirmation of return to Ukraine, have the option to provide their confirmations of return at one of our regional visa application centers in Lviv, Odessa or Donetsk. Please note that this service is available only at the regional visa application centers. Applicants intending to provide confirmations of their return to Ukraine in Kiev, are required to visit the Consular Section of the Embassy of Spain in Ukraine.

Please note that you have an option to submit your documents at the Visa Application Centre or directly at the Embassy.

Embassy does not recommend applicants to take assistance from any kind of
unauthorized agents - especially agents offering such services outside the
Embassy and Visa Application Centre entrance. Neither the Embassy nor Visa
Application Centre approve of such practices.

NOTE: The Visa Application Center is competent only for proceeding the short
term visas (less than 90 days). All the others applications must be presented
directly at the Consular Section of the Embassy which is situated:

Donetsk Visa Application Collection Centre
From the 28 of March 2011, Visa Application Collection Center in Donetsk
started accepting visa applications on behalf of the Embassy of Spain in Kiev.

EMBASSY OF SPAIN IN KYIV WILL PROCESS VISA APPLICATIONS WITHIN FIVE WORKING
DAYS
Effective November 23, 2009 Embassy of Spain in Kyiv will process all
applications of Schengen visas within five working days. This means from the
date of submission* of your application, the Embassy will revert with one of
the three possible decisions in five days:
a. Visa Granted
b. Visa Refused
c. Additional document(s) or a personal interview required (More information
given below)
* Note: Date of Submission will be counted only after the required Visa Fee has
been paid.
Insofar as an application is presented in a complete fashion according to the
list of documents required (provided in this website) the Embassy of Spain in
Kyiv will make its utmost in guaranteeing a final decision in that period of
time without further delays. If a decision can be reached before that period of
time, then you will be contacted to render it to you before that very deadline.
In case of additional document(s) required by the Embassy or if the applicant
needs to appear for an interview at the Embassy, you will have ten more days to
complete your application, followed by another period of, at maximum, five days
on the part of the Embassy of Spain. Interviews, for the sake of saving time,
will be done in the shortest period of time available.
Important points to note:

Embassy of Spain and Visa Application Centre will not be
responsible for any delays due to courier service. If an applicant needs to
submit additional documents and if the applicant had chosen to receive the
passport back by Courier, then please be informed that the time taken by the
courier service (usually 1-2 days) is also INCLUDED in the 10 days time given
to the applicant to resubmit the required document(s) |

The Embassy of Spain strongly advises to submit visa applications with complete
documents according to the Check-list provided on this website. Please, if you
have any doubts as for which visa category you must apply, or about specific
documents as put on the Check-list, do not hesitate to contact us in order to
clarify them. This will help you minimize the delays in the visa-application
procedure.
