Q.1 Can I apply for a visa with more than 90 days to the Visa Centre?
Ans No. The Visa Centre is competent only for proceeding the short term visas (less than 90 days).
 
Q.2 I want to visit one of the countries of the Schengen territory, which Embassy do I apply to for a visa?
Ans You must apply to the Embassy of a country you are intending to go. If you are planning to visit several countries, you need to apply to the Embassy of the country of the longest intended period of stay. If the duration of stay is equal, you need to apply to the Embassy of the country of your first entry.
 
Q.3 Can I just come to the Embassy of Spain and apply right away??
Ans No, you will need to schedule an appointment first in order to submit your visa application by calling to the Embassy of Spain Contact Centre: or by going to the web site www.espvac-ua.com.

Q.4 Where is the new Visa Application Centre?
Ans The new visa application centre is located at 60 Frunze Street, Kiev, Ukraine . Nearest Metro Station is Tarasa Shevchenka.
 
Q.5 How can I collect my passport once it was proceeded by the Embassy?
Ans The passport can be collected at the Visa Centre personally or by one of the accredited agencies in case it was submited by the same agency.
 
Q.6 Till what age a child can be in father’s/mother’s passport?
Ans A child can be in father’s/mother’s passport till 16 years old.
 
Q.7 While submiting the documents for the visa, should I present the plane or bus tickets?
Ans No. You have to present the reservation for such tickets. It has to be two-way tickets with closed dates.
 
Q.8 Can I live in Spain having a short term visa?
Ans No. Short term visa enables you to stay in Spain for the period of its validity only. According to the law in the area of rights and matters of foreigners in Spain, in order to settle in Spain , you must have a necessary residence visa.
 
Q.9 Do I have to have a medical insurance?
Ans Yes.
 
Q.10 If I’m refused, does it mean that I will not be able to travel to Schengen countries?
Ans It means that at this moment under these particular circumstances a visa can not be issued to you.
 
Q.11 What do I do if I am refused?
Ans If you consider it to be reasonable, you can appeal against the refusal. In case of a refusal the Embassy will provide you with a refusal letter mentioning the term and the place where you can appeal.
   
Q.12 If I am refused, should I wait for some time before applying for a visa again?
Ans Yes, you can order the courier service while submitting your visa application.
   
Q.13 Can I submit an extended passport?
Ans No, you can not. You should bring the new one while submiting the documents.

Submit your application: Visit Visa Application Centre as per appointment scheduled and submit your completed Visa Application Forms along with required supporting documents.

Step 4
Pay applicable Fee: Submission Officer will advise you on total payable amount and guide you to the bank cashier where you need to pay in local currency (Hryvnia). Receipt will be provided for all payments made at the Centre.
